Why We Do This
Computer IT Disposals was founded in 2014 — trading name of Commercial IT Recycling Ltd — to solve a problem most businesses only think about once a year: what actually happens to the laptops, servers and hard drives once they're switched off for good. We built the company around one standard: every collection should be secure enough that a compliance officer never has to ask a follow-up question.
That standard hasn't moved as we've grown. We now collect from businesses across England, Scotland and Wales — from single-office SMEs to multi-site enterprises with recurring decommissioning schedules — but every job still runs through the same BS-7858 vetted engineers, the same Blancco certified erasure, and the same audit trail, whether it's five laptops or five hundred.
