You receive an IT Asset Audit report (if required) listing each device individually — make, model, serial, and the destruction or erasure method applied — in a format your team can reconcile against your asset register, CMDB or leasing schedule. Where a device on your list doesn’t arrive, or one arrives that isn’t on your list, you are told: exceptions are reported rather than quietly absorbed, because a clean-looking report that hides a gap is worse than no report at all. Reuse is assessed before recycling: equipment with working life left has a materially lower carbon cost kept in service than shredded, and the report reflects which route each asset took.
