How Collection Works

Collection is scheduled for whatever date and time works for you, with our own drivers using specialised, secure vehicles for the journey. Having someone available on-site to grant access helps things run smoothly — if you can’t be there yourself, just let us know who’s authorised to stand in. Once collected, equipment goes to our processing facility, where every item is logged individually as part of our asset tracking process before anything else happens.

What Happens to Your Data

Every data-bearing device — hard drives, SSDs, USB drives, and anything else that’s held information — goes through certified data destruction in a controlled environment, following a standard set of procedures rather than an ad hoc process. You receive a certificate confirming exactly what was destroyed. This applies whether you’re a business or an individual; our service covers both.

What Happens to the Equipment

Once collected, each device is assessed, stripped down, and either repaired, refurbished, or recycled depending on its condition. Recovered materials go on to smelters, refineries and other facilities to be reused in new manufacturing, rather than being lost to landfill. If your equipment still has resale value, we’ll assess it against current market demand, condition and age, and let you know — recycling doesn’t have to mean writing the whole thing off.
